We hear the word "Excellence" and we strive for this attribute. We hear the word "Excellence" and can think of the top level of NCEA. Mr Stevenson introduced four past pupils with the words of the Greek critic, philosopher, physicist and zoologist - Aristotle and his understanding of the word "Excellence".
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit."
Simon Consedine (College Captain in 1998) will study for a Master of Laws degree specialising in Energy Law at Colombia University in New York.
Ross McGurk (College Captain in 2002) will research the application of Monte Carlo techniques to optimise radiation beam therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston - Cancer Research.
NCEA SCHOLARSHPS Students in most secondary school in New Zealand have the opportunity to gain a Scholarship.
